Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of chinilaw.com. Please read them carefully, including the important disclaimers below about attorney advertising and the attorney-client relationship.

Last updated: 2026-10-06

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of chinilaw.com (the "Site"), operated by the Law Office of Ron Chini ("Chini Law," "we," "us," or "our"). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

The Site is for general informational purposes only and does not constitute legal advice. Nothing on the Site creates an attorney-client relationship between you and Chini Law or Ron Chini. Submitting a contact form, requesting a consultation, or communicating with us through the Site does not create an attorney-client relationship. An attorney-client relationship is formed only after Chini Law and you have both signed a written engagement agreement setting out the scope of representation.

Because every legal matter is different, information on the Site that describes general legal concepts, processes, or past outcomes may not apply to your situation. Do not rely on the Site as a substitute for individualized legal advice from a licensed attorney about your specific circumstances.

2. Attorney Advertising

This Site may constitute attorney advertising under the laws of the State of California. Ron Chini is licensed by the State Bar of California (Bar No. 263308). Ron Chini is an experienced attorney; he does not claim to be a certified specialist, and no result is guaranteed. Past results described on the Site do not guarantee a similar outcome in any future matter — each case is unique and depends on its own facts, and results will vary.

3. Reviews & Testimonials

Any client reviews, ratings, or testimonials referenced or linked from the Site (including on our Reviews page) reflect the experiences and opinions of the individual clients who gave them. Each legal matter is unique, and a positive review or past result does not predict or guarantee a similar result in your matter.

4. Use of the Site

You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes. You agree not to:

5. Intellectual Property

The text, graphics, logos, and other content on the Site are owned by or licensed to Chini Law and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may view and print pages from the Site for your own personal, non-commercial use, provided you do not remove any copyright or other proprietary notices. No other use is permitted without our prior written consent.

The Site may contain links to third-party websites (such as the State Bar of California's attorney directory or review platforms) for your convenience. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or privacy practices of any linked third-party site. Including a link does not imply our endorsement of that site.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Chini Law and Ron Chini shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of, or inability to use, the Site, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability arising from an actual attorney-client relationship formed under a separate written engagement agreement, which is governed by that agreement and applicable professional-responsibility rules rather than these Terms.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Chini Law, Ron Chini, and our respective agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the Site.

10. Governing Law & Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Orange County, California, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

11. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects when these Terms were most recently revised. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
