Know which agency holds your file before you start calling around. A crash at the I-5 and SR-55 merge will almost certainly be a CHP report. A crash on a side street near Old Town or around Tustin Legacy will almost certainly be a city police report. Once you have it, keep the report number handy, because insurers and anyone helping you with the claim will ask for it first.

It is not on the county's list of trauma centers, which names Orange County Global Medical Center in Santa Ana (Level II), UCI Medical Center in Orange (Level I adult) and Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo.
