Will I Lose My Driver’s License?
Typically, the first question we get asked is “Will I go to Jail”, then it is typically “Will I Lose My License?” A driver’s license is a necessity to surviving. We drive to school, to work and even the grocery store. Public transportation can make a huge change in your schedule.
A majority of people who are convicted of a DUI end up losing their driver’s license for a duration of time. This could be from 30 days to a number of years depending on situation around your conviction.
An arrest for DUI does not automatically mean you will lose your license or it will be suspended. You do have the option to fight it. There may be reduced sentences, or even possible agreements with the DMV to permit you to still drive during the suspension period.
Our primary objective is to help clients avoid a license suspension. It is not guaranteed but the experience, knowledge of our team will give you the best chance at reducing the suspension time frame or even removing it altogether.
